Question:
Does anybody know of any good, confortable eyeglass straps that can be used
when running? I usually wear contact lenses for my morning runs, but in the
evenings I don't want to be bothered with putting them in and then taking them
out for a 30-50 minute run. I'm getting tired of constantly readjusting my
eyeglasses to keep them from falling off my face.
Going without glasses or contacts really isn't an option as I'm so nearsighted
that I'd probably mistake a curb for a cement truck.
I'd like to have the Lasik surgery done but with three children on the way (no,
I'm not kidding) this just isn't practical.
I remeber seeing a product named Croakies in the past. Have any other
retinally-challenged runners tried these or have any other product suggestions?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Do you know about Nike Prescription Eye Glasses?
Answer:
Sorry, I do not have a solution but have related comment.
I do not wear glasses while running due to the slipping problem
especially when it gets hot outside, and when it is cold outside they
fog up. You can't win!
I have recently started wearing Nike Airelon (sp?) non-prescription
sunglasses and I actually forget that I am wearing them. They are not
prescription glasses though. I do not know if they can make the same
thing but with a prescription in them, probably not. But I was
wondering if anyone out there knows about the possibility.
