My life has mostly sucked & i have no trouble relating to pj's lyrics.
personally i'm pretty sick of people saying that they whine etc... i
really am sick of hearing that.
we can all be so misunderstood.
pj are artists. they are reflecting the world as they see it. if people
don't see things as they do, then fine. but one should not be attacking
them for their vision. most bands don't even HAVE vision, they are
making money instead of expressing an artistic view.
people might not agree with what pj sees in the world, but it is not
fair to attack them for having vision and the ability to express it.
what people are attacking when they do that is pjs artistry and that's
fucking wrong. Any suggestion about Pearl Vision Express?
Answer:
As a huge fan of both the Beatles and Pearl Jam, I think the Beatles
have the edge because all of them sang and harmonized well and 3 of
them wrote songs. There is no denying that Eddie is a great vocalist,
but so was John, Paul and George...even Ringo could hold his own. The
Beatles stood on the sholders of their heroes and started out as a very
derivative band until around 'Rubber Soul' when they began to evolve
into a real trail-blazing band. It really kicked in with 'Sgt.
Pepper.' The 'White Album' & 'Abbey Road' are masterpieces, as are
"Ten" & 'VS."
