Professional (ECP); what areas of focus and strategies will help
us win over time Leading the overall ECP business planning and
budgeting process and being a key voice with senior management:
vision, goals, measures Refining and building our umbrella
equity with the ECP, what should our positioning become Serving
as the lead cross-functionally with Sales, Professional Affairs
and Marketing as the professional marketing expert Serving as
lead on the Plan of Action (POA) process and determining what
Vistakons operating processes should look like Leading all
agency relationships and determining best operating structure
with the agencies Coordinate Brand Approach as part of the above
but not the creator of brand based marketing materials or sub

related experience Minimum 10 years experience in/exposure to
optical industry professional marketing with understanding of
strategic marketing Five years of managerial experience Strong
strategic thinker Ability to effectively relay a vision to
agency partners and other functional areas (Marketing, Sales,
Customer Service and Professional Affairs) and enroll their
buy-in Ability to create synergy via facilitation of multiple
agencies as strategic partners Work effectively with Market
Research to understand and interpret data from a variety of
primary studies and syndicated sources. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills, including to senior management
Ability to build strong, productive relationships with staff
members in other functional areas Effective manager of a
significant budget that is influenced by several functional areas
Results driven - able to devise complex plans and act on them
through implementation Willingness to take risks and make
recommendations based on fresh thinking
