Has anyone actually received the info about those special effect contact
lenses? I have requested one twice and still have not received anything!

I'm sorry I don't know what's promted your question, but:
I have some experience with frosted and flouro-coloured contacts. In
short, keep plenty of eye drops on hand (especially if you're un-used to
contact lenses), remember your vision will/may be limited, and, if using
the fluro kind which react to UV light, expect to believe you are walking
in a fog.
These things are okay for TV & film & hall costumes but on stage where the
audience is some distance away, why bother?
