Question:
I'm looking for a right eye color/eyeshadow for everyday wear. I have
brownish black eyes with fair asian skin and black hair, and I wear
glasses. Could anyone in this news group kindly give me any idea on what
eye colors would be nice on me? Any advice about Versace Eye Glasses?
Answer:
I have the same eye and hair coloring as you, but my skin is slightly darker
(medium olive toned). I've found that for everyday use I really like
peach/beiges and light pinks. They make my eyes pretty without screaming "I
HAVE MAKEUP ON!" you know? I love Stila's Cassatt, Starlight, Deluaney and
bouquet for everyday looks, with a darker burgundy eyeshadow as an eyeliner
(with no crease color). If you want a little umph, then use something like
Stila's Cassatt, which is slight matte pink (I see a touch of shimmer) and use
Viola - a light sheer violet, in the outer corner of your eye, but not in the
crease. Then line with a shade slightly darker but in the same family of
color.
I've also found that I can wear some sheer blue-ish purple colors if they are
high quality, like Trish's 138 or Versace's V2000 eyeshadow duo. They really
give a pop to the eye, without looking overly dramatic. I usually line with a
darker purple/violet/burgundy colo
